Communications Officer

I graduated from the University of Leeds in 2020 with a degree in Fashion Marketing. Through my studies, I gained a solid understanding of marketing principles, communication strategies, and effective campaign planning. I learnt that when executed well, these strategies have the power to bring about significant impact and positive change. After graduation, I began working for a small London based charity which is where I found my love for storytelling and digital engagement.

To me, charity is about belonging to a community that shares the sense of being part of something greater than oneself. As Communications Officer, I will be advocating on behalf of those directly and indirectly affected by dystonia and doing what I can to generate widespread recognition and understanding of the condition.

I have also achieved a Cache Level 2 certificate in Counselling Skills which not only taught me practical techniques but also reinforced my belief in the power of helping and understanding others.

Whenever I can, I'll go back up north to escape London for a little bit, I adore visiting the Lake District or spending the day in the countryside on the outskirts of Manchester.
