Gifts in Celebration

celebrateMany of our supporters help to fundraise and raise awareness for the Dystonia Society when celebrating special events.

By asking your friends and family to donate to us instead of presents at a birthday, anniversary or wedding, you can enjoy your special day knowing you are making a real difference to the lives of people with dystonia.

Golf Extravaganza!
Golfers

Keep the funds swinging in to the Dystonia Society this year by putting on your very own Golf Extravaganza!

If you and your friends or colleagues are keen golfers why not get in touch with your local club to see if they’d be willing to host an event or provide a discount in aid of our cause. It could be anything from playing five rounds in a single day, or a hole in one challenge, to a post-tournament party (with plenty of sand wedges).

To tee things off please feel free to request one of our Golf Fundraising Pack by contacting the fundraising team by emailing us at fundraising@dystonia.org.uk or by calling 08458031004or save on postage by downloading it here.

Head Shave for Dystonia!

For many this is a truly hair-raising prospect. Although one for our really committed supporters, this fundraising activity really brings the donations in. We'd really appreciate the effort and it will all be worth it with the knowledge that the money raised will go a long way in funding the exceptional support services that we provide.

Dinner Party for Dystonia

Why not get your friends together for a delicious meal by hosting a Dinner4Good?

Sign up online, invite your friends and raise money for Dystonia over dinner! www.dinner4good.co.uk

Cheese and Wine Evening
Cheeseandwine

Cheese and wine, what a combination, so much better than chalk and cheese. But not quite as grate a combo as a Cheese and Wine Event for the Dystonia Society. Get together with friends and family for a sophisticated and mature evening of fundraising, but beware of the looming cheese dreams afterwards.

To help make your event even more of a success, try contacting local business for raffle prizes and donations. Plus, what about making it a 1920s themed affair? That'll really improve the vintage!

Workplace Event

Nominating The Dystonia Society to be your organisations' Charity of the Year is a fantastic way to raise money throughout the year. However if the place where you work doesn't have such a scheme, there are still tons of great ways to support us. Whether it's having a dress down day, office bake sale, quiz, guess the baby photos, or a space hopper race with your colleagues - there's sure to be an activity that makes you forget why you don't like Mondays.

Family Fundraising
liskenesa10k

Spend some quality time together fundraising as a family this year - like the Brady family from Northern Ireland who raised a whopping £1,300 by doing a local 10k run.

Get the whole family involved in a local swimathon, table tennis tournament, cycle ride, fun run, or finally prove who's the best driver with a sponsored go kart race.
