I find that mediation helps to calm my muscles, I also do some physio and went on a pain management course a few years ago which was a great help.

I have an electric heat pad and I find that I need my neck supported by a high back chair which also reclines so I can play around and get the most comfy position. I have tried most of the meds and they dont work for me as the side effects are too dangerous in that it affects my lungs and ability to breathe.

Good luck I feel your pain....literally! but stay strong in your mind as that helps as well and if all else fails be good to yourself and rest, also pace your day with rest brakes as your body needs it and not when you think you should be managing the task and think that you can push through, you will pay the price.

Hugs and blessings
