I wonder if anyone has tried morphine to cope with the pain of cervical dystonia?

Lately the pain in my head neck and jaw has got unbearable.

Thanks for your help

Love & light to all

Personally I can not tell you. But i know many people who have said Morphine has worked wonders and many people who have said it did nothing at all. Which seems to be consistent with how most pain medications work.

If i can ask have you tried any other pain medications before? And if you have did they help at all?

I am seeing a pain specialist next month. Not only because of pain but because of the exhaustion that seems to come from it.

Do you find exhaustion to be a huge issue as well?

I advise you to take pain-o-soma 500mg. its very effective in pain and give you instant results. Its also very cost efffective.

I take zomorph but the problem is your body gets used to it and it no longer becomes effective at relieving the pain a viscous circle of upping the dose higher

Hello
I have found relaxation before going to sleep (suggested to me by one of the helpliners many years ago) helpful. Also more recently I have got a memory foam mattress which also seems to help. I've got dystonia in a few parts of my body. Plus my favorite wheat bag warned in the microwave. Also Baclofen. Massage regularly used to help. I find I need different things at different times.
Hope you get some relief. Cat
