Dr Tom Warner, Medical Advisor, Dystonia Society
Dystonia is a common neurological movement disorder, yet too often unrecognised by both healthcare professionals and the general public. Once diagnosed, there are treatments and the Dystonia Society is always there to help.

Welcome to the

Dystonia Society

The Dystonia Society is a UK-wide charity providing support, advice and information for anyone affected by the neurological movement disorder known as dystonia.

Dystonia is characterised by involuntary and uncontrollable muscle spasms which can force affected parts of the body into abnormal, sometimes painful, movements or postures.

It is our aim to ensure that everyone affected has access to the most appropriate treatment, support and information they need to achieve the best possible quality of life.

We hope you like our new web site and find it useful. Do let us know what you think. Email us from contact us’.
